After I completed Erum's course I felt enriched with allot of practical knowledge and advanced techniques and could not wait to start creating. If you want to make your cards extra special than this is the perfect class.
For today's card I used the Altenew Happy Pomegranates Stamp & Die Set with a few Colouring Techniques.
First I trimmed red cardstock and adhered it onto the card front using the Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
Following on from this I created a wood texture background using the Wet to Dry Watercolour Technique with the Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set, Altenew Watercolor Paper Pad and Altenew Watercolor Brush Set.
I then added splatters using the Altenew Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set and Altenew Watercolor Fine Brush and adhered it onto the card front.
Following on from this I then used the Altenew Stampwheel and stamped the Altenew Happy Pomegranates Stamp onto blending cardstock.
I then coloured the Pomegranates Stamped Image using the Altenew Artist Markers Green Valley Set, Red Cosmos Set, Red Sunset Set and Rock Garden Set D. I just love the Altenew Alcohol Ink Markers and it blends perfectly. The end result is a beautiful bright and striking coloured image.
To finish I die-cut gold and red cardstock with the Altenew Merry Christmas Die, adhered onto the panel and added some sequins.
I will share more of my projects from the AECP as I work my way through the courses so stay tuned for more cardmaking posts!

Wow, this card is beautiful Anet! Your colouring is perfect and the background you created is gorgeous. I love how bright the pomegranates look, both the fruit and the leaves. They contrast so nicely with the background. The large gold sentiment is fantastic too.
