Just Roll With It - The Paper Shelter

Hi Everyone, are you ready ...

It is time for a new challenge at Paper Shelter

and the theme is Make It Sparkle.

Now here is my card 

using Just Roll With It.

Sentiment: Couture Creations Elegance Collection Sending Love Hotfoil Stamp and Die Set.  Embossing Folder: Altenew Masonry Wall 3d Embossing Folder. Ink: Distress Oxide Blueprint Sketch, Picked Raspberry and Antique Linen. White and Gold Gel Pen. Nuvo Crystal Drops Metallic Gold. 

Techniques used:

• First I embossed with the Altenew Masonry Wall 3d Embossing Folder.
• I coloured the Just Roll With It with Copic Sketch Markers.
• I then created a background using the Distress Oxide Blueprint Sketch, Picked Raspberry and Antique Linen.
• To finish I added some detail using a white and gold gel pen.  I added some gems.

Deer Christmas Card

Hi Everyone, I would like to share a Christmas card with you using the Altenew Modern Deer Stamp & Die Set. I just love Christmas and is also one of the favourite cards I like to create.   

I followed Amy's sketch at the Freshly Made Sketches #659.  I flip the card sketch totally upside down, followed the beautiful sketch and created my Christmas card.

Techniques I used:

• Embossed the white cardstock with the Altenew Layered Snowflake Stars Cover Die.
• Stamped the Altenew Modern Deer Sentiment Stamp with embossing ink and and heat emboss with the Altenew Gold Crisp Embossing Powder. 
• Stamped the Altenew Once Upon A Time Stamp Set trees using the Green Valley Fresh Dye Ink.
• Die-cut image with coordinating Altenew Once Upon A Time Die Set
• Stamped the Altenew Modern Deer Stamp using Memento Grey Ink.
• Die-cut image with coordinating Altenew Modern Deer Die.
• Coloured the deer with Altenew Rock Garden Set D Artist Alcohol Markers and Altenew Summer Afternoon Artist Alcohol Markers.

To finish I adhered the die-cuts and added some gems.

Christmas Feather Hug - Altenew

Hi Everyone, hope you are all having a good week. I would like to share a card with you that I made with the Bird on Bloom Die & Stencil Set and Berry Branch Layering Die Set.   

I followed the Freshly Made Sketches #658 and I just love how the card came together using this beautiful sketch.

Techniques I used:

• Embossed the white cardstock with Altenew Diamond Stars Embossing Folder and Altenew Deck Planks Embossing Folder.
• Die-cut the wood embossed white cardstock with the MFT Rounded Banner Stax.
• Die-cut green cardstock with the MFT Rounded Banner Stax.
• I ink blend through the Altenew Water Builder Stencil using the Altenew Mediterranean Glow Fresh Dye Ink and Altenew Fall Harvest Crisp Dye Ink.  Die cut it with the MFT Rounded Banner Stax. 
• Die-cut brown, green and maroon cardstock with the Berry Branch Layering Die Set. 
• Stamp white cardstock with the Bird Stamp.
• Ink blend through the Bird on Bloom Stencil using the Altenew Pocketful of Sunshine Fresh Dye Ink, Coffee Break Crisp Dye Ink and Warm Gray Fresh Dye Ink.
• Die-cut bird image with the coordinating Bird on Bloom Die.
• Stamp sentiment with the Bird on Bloom Stamp and die-cut with the coordinating Bird on Bloom Die.

To finish I die-cut green cardstock with the Couture Creations The Gift of Giving Merry Christmas Sentiment Die. I added glossy accents on the berries and some gems.

Flowers - The Paper Shelter

Now here is my card 

using Flowers Digital Coloring Book.

Coloured with Copic Sketch Markers.

Sentiment: Altenew Label Love Sentiment Stamp. Embossing Folder: Altenew Masonry Wall 3D Embossing Folder. Die: Couture Creations Rectangle Die. Ink: Distress Oxide Seedless Preserves. 

• First I created a mask die-cutting cardstock with the Rectangle Die.
• I then ink blend using the Distress Oxide Seedless Preserves Ink.
• Following on from this I embossed the white cardstock with the Masonry Wall Embossing Folder.
• I finished stamping the Label Love Sentiment using Distress Oxide Seedless Preserves Ink.

Coneflower - Altenew

Hi Everyone, hope you are all having a good week. I would like to share a card with you that I made with the Bird on Bloom Die & Stencil Set.   

I just love the April's colour combination and lean to a happy feeling when I see the colours together on the card. 

Techniques I used:

• Embossed the pink cardstock with the Stamp white cardstock with the Layered Snowflake Stars Cover Die.
• Die-cut white cardstock with the Steampunk Dream Distressed Tag and ink blend using the Rose Petal Fresh Dye Ink
• Ink blend through the Bird on Bloom Stencil using the Rose Petal Fresh Dye Ink Ink, Summer Afternoon Crisp Dye Ink and Green Valley Fresh Dye Ink.
• Die-cut bloom image with the coordinating Bird on Bloom Die.
• Die-cut cardstock four times with the Altenew Envelope Liner Die Set.

I followed the Freshly Made Sketches #657 and I just love how the card came together using this beautiful sketch.

To finish I added some gems and ribbon through the tag.

Christmas Bird - Altenew

Hi Everyone, hope you are all having a good week. I would like to share a Christmas card with you that I made with the Bird on Bloom Die & Stencil Set.   

I used April's colour combination, to create a Christmas card with non-traditional colours and I think these colours just complimented the Berry Branch Die Set and Bird on Bloom Die Set perfectly.

Techniques I used:

• Die-cut and ink blend the Berry Branch using the Cherry Blossom Crisp Dye Ink and added glossy accents on the berries
• Die-cut green and brown cardstock with the Berry Branch 
• Die-cut white cardstock with the Picture Frame Die Set
• Stamp pink cardstock with the Snow Stamp using the Cloud White Pigment Ink
• Stamp white cardstock with the Bird Stamp
• Ink blend through the Bird on Bloom Stencil using the Summer Afternoon Crisp Dye Ink and Warm Gray Fresh Dye Ink
• Embossed white cardstock with the Masonry Wall 3D Embossing Folder

I followed the Freshly Made Sketches #656 and I just love how the card came together using this beautiful sketch.

To finish I added some splatters using the Altenew Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set and some gems.  I die-cut white and pink cardstock with the Couture Creations The Gift of Giving Merry Christmas Sentiment Die.

Flower Vase - Altenew

Hi Everyone, I would like to share a card with you that I made using the beautiful Altenew Lovely Rose Peony Stamp & Die Set. Love that this pretty peony image also includes a vase.  I am entering my card into the Altenew October 2024 Inspiration Challenge.

Techniques I used:

• Emboss blue cardstock using the Altenew Dotted Waves Cover Die.
• Stamp the Altenew Lovely Rose Peony Stamp onto blending cardstock.
• Coloured the flower and leaves with Altenew Cherry Blossom, Green Valley and Glacier Caves Artist Alcohol Markers.
• Die-cut image with coordinating Altenew Lovely Rose Peony Die.
• Stamp Altenew Lovely Rose Peony Sentiment Stamp with Embossing Ink and heat emboss with Altenew Gold Crisp Embossing Powder.

April's colour combination, which I used for the beautiful peony, just pops even more with the blue embossed background.  The Altenew Artist Alcohol Markers just blends perfectly. The end result is a beautiful bright and striking coloured image.

The embossed background with the Altenew Dotted Waves Cover Die is just adding beautiful texture.

To finish I added some splatters using the Altenew Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set and some sequins.
