Be Happy Card - Masking Unleashed - AECP Level 2

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my tenth completed AECP Level 2 – Masking Unleashed Card.

The course demonstrated how to use the Masking Technique and add the Wow factor to projects. It was such an informative class with allot of tips. For today's card I used the positive and negative masking techniques to get more use out of my Altenew Mini Wild Dog Rose Stamp Set, Delightful Day Stamp and Meadow Reflections Butterfly Stamp.

First I stamped Post-it-Notes with the Altenew Mini Wild Dog Rose Stamp and Altenew Meadow Reflections Butterfly Stamp and created masks.

Tip: Plan ahead the order in which you want to create the scene.

Following on from this I stamped the Altenew Meadow Reflections Butterfly Stamp and masked it off.

I then stamped the Altenew Mini Wild Dog Rose Stamp on the right-hand side of the panel and masked it off. I then stamped another flower above it, masked it off and stamped a flower on the left-hand side of the panel and masked it off.

Following on from this I stamped the Altenew Mini Wild Dog Rose Leaf Stamp and Delightful Day Leaf Stamp and build the layers of the bouquet.

I then used the Layering Stamp Technique with the Altenew Delightful Day Leaf Stamp and Altenew Frosted Foliage Fresh Dye Ink.

To finish I heat embossed the Altenew Meadow Reflections Sentiment, adhered the panel onto the card base using foam tape and added some sequins.

I will share more of my projects from the AECP as I work my way through the courses so stay tuned for more cardmaking posts!

You Are Amazing Card - Magical Marker Techniques - AECP Level 2

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my ninth completed AECP Level 2 – Magical Marker Techniques Card.

The course demonstrated how to think outside the box and use the Altenew Artist Markers with different techniques. For today's card I used a few techniques to get more use out of my Altenew Artist Markers.

First I created my own background using the Press-and-Spritz Background Technique, but I used a brayer instead with the Altenew Artist Markers Mystic Garden Set J and rubbing alcohol. I rolled the brayer through the wash and across a piece of white cardstock. I just love the beautiful background I created with the Altenew Artist Markers.

Tip: Work quickly, because the Artist Markers dries fast.

Following on from this I used the Spatter Technique with the Altenew Artist Markers Rock Garden Set D, rubbing alcohol and a stipple brush. I spatter the Altenew Artist Marker Ink onto white cardstock and is such a great technique to use with the Altenew Artist Markers.

I then stamped the Altenew Eclectic Bouquet Flower Stamp onto blending cardstock and coloured it with the Altenew Artist Markers Mystic Garden Set J and Rock Garden Set DThe Artist Markers just blends perfectly and the end result is a beautiful bright and striking coloured image.

Following on from this I die-cut with the Altenew Eclectic Bouquet Flower Die and adhered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.

To finish I then stamped the Altenew Delicate Garden Sentiment Stamp and heat emboss it. I adhered it onto the card front using foam tape and added gems which I coloured with the Altenew Artist Markers Mystic Garden Set J.

Tip: If you do not have the correct coloured gems, colour it with your Altenew Artist Markers.

I will share more of my projects from the AECP as I work my way through the courses so stay tuned for more cardmaking posts!

The course demonstrated how to incorporate heat embossing to add shine and texture on projects. I enjoyed this course allot and learned so much. For today's card I used a few techniques to let my card shine.

First I created my own background using the Altenew Flower and Petals Layering Stencil Set with Embossing Paste and Altenew Blue Mountains Alpine Aster Fresh Dye InkI adhered it onto the card front using foam tape. I just love the beautiful texture and it just blends softly into the background.

Following on from this I used the Layering Stamping and Heat Embossing Techniques with the Altenew Delightful Day Stamps. I stamped the Altenew Delightful Day Flower Stamp onto cardstock using the Altenew Blue Mountains Alpine Aster Fresh Dye Ink and heat emboss it with Clear Embossing Powder.

I then stamped the Altenew Delightful Day Flower Stamps with Versamark Ink and heat emboss it with Gold and Copper Embossing Powder. I adhered the flower onto the card front using 3D foam dots.

Following on from this I stamped the Altenew Delightful Day Flower Stamp, but this time I used vellum and heat embossed it with the Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder.

I then stamped the Altenew Delightful Day Flower Stamps with the Altenew Blue Mountains Alpine Aster Fresh Dye Ink and heat emboss it with Clear Embossing Powder.

Following on from this I stamped the Altenew Delightful Day Flower Stamp with Versamark Ink and heat emboss it with Gold and Copper Embossing Powder. I adhered the flower onto the card front using 3D foam dots.

I then stamped the Altenew Delightful Day Leaf Stamps onto cardstock using the Frosted Foliage Fresh Dye Ink and heat embossed the last layering Altenew Delightful Day Leaf Stamp with Gold Embossing Powder. I adhered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.

Hello Card - Color Your Day - AECP Level 2

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my second completed AECP Level 2 – Color Your Day Card.

The course demonstrated how to feel more confident using colour in projects. For today's card I used a few techniques to create my card and got the inspiration from the Altenew June 2023 Inspiration Challenge.

First I die-cut cardstock with the Altenew Rattan Stripes Die and adhered it onto the card front. You can create such beautiful texture in different ways with this Altenew Rattan Stripes Die.

Following on from this I stamped with the Altenew Snowing Stamp randomly onto the card front using the Altenew Cherry Blossom Crisp Dye Ink and Woodland Escape Redwood Fresh Dye Ink.

I then stamped the Altenew Delicate Garden Flower Stamp onto blending cardstock and coloured it with the Altenew Artist Markers Mystic Garden Set JRock Garden Set D and Red Cosmos Markers

Tip: When colouring with Altenew Alcohol Ink Markers it is important to use blending cardstock to prevent bleeding.

Following on from this I die-cut the focal image with the Altenew Delicate Garden Flower Die and adhered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.

I then stamped the Altenew Delicate Garden Sentiment Stamp, heat embossed it with the Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder and adhered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.

To finish I adhered it onto the card base using foam tape and added some sequins.

I will share more of my projects from the AECP as I work my way through the courses so stay tuned for more cardmaking posts!

Blueberry Branch Card - Beautiful Details - AECP Level 2

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my second completed AECP Level 2 – Beautiful Details Card.

The course demonstrated how to use a medium and add various details to your project to take it to the next level. For today's card I used a few techniques with the Altenew Artist Markers.

First I used the Masking Stamping Technique and stamped the Altenew Blueberry Branch Stamp three times using grey ink.

Following on from this I used the No-Line Colouring Technique and coloured the blueberry branches with Altenew Artist Markers Mystic Garden Set J and Rock Garden Set D

I then added details onto the blueberries using a white gel pen and on the leaves I used the Feather and Flick Techniques with the Altenew Artist Markers

I wanted to create a background that represents a wooden table behind the the Altenew Blueberry Branches and used the Altenew Artist Markers Rock Garden Set D to add the background. I also added some white shading detail using a white pencil.

I think by adding these beautiful details to the Altenew Blueberry Branches and background scene it let the focal image pop-up more.

To finish I stamped the Altenew Enamel Flowers Sentiment Stamp, heat embossed it and adhered it onto the cardstock using Altenew Ultra Sticky Double-Sided Tape. I layered it onto the card front using 3D foam tape.

I will share more of my projects from the AECP as I work my way through the courses so stay tuned for more cardmaking posts!

Wild Dog Rose Card - Polychromatic - AECP Level 2

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my fifth completed AECP Level 2 – Polychromatic Card.

The course demonstrated how to select multi-colours that are closely related. For today's card I used the Pastel Monochromatic Watercolour and No Line Alcohol Marker Colouring Techniques.

First I created my own background using the Embossed Resist Technique with same green colour family and added some yellow on a few of the flowers.

Following on from this I stamped the Altenew Delightful Day Leaf Stamps, heat embossed it using the Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder, watercolour it with the Altenew Hawaiian Shores Duel Tip Pens and Frosted Foliage Fresh Dye Ink. I added some splatters and just love the end result.

I then stamped the Altenew Delightful Day Sentiment Stamp, heat embossed it and adhered it onto the card front using the Altenew Ultra Sticky Double-Sided Tape.

Following on from this I used the No Line Colouring Technique and stamped the Altenew Mini Wild Dog Rose Stamp Set onto blending cardstock using grey ink. I coloured it with the Altenew Artist Markers Mystic Garden Set JRock Garden Set D MarkersRed Cosmos Markers and Summer Afternoon Markers. The alcohol markers just blends perfectly and the end result is a beautiful bright and striking coloured image.

I then die-cut it with the Altenew Mini Wild Dog Rose Dies and adhered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots to create dimension.
