Winter Walk - The Paper Shelter

Christmas Card & Mini Purse - Couture Creations

Hi Everyone, Anet here today and welcome to my inspiration post.

I made a Christmas Card and Mini Purse with the Elegance Collection from Couture Creations. I coloured the image with the Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers. 




I found the inspiration from Julie's Blog. As always I like to change things a little and changed the sizing.

Step by Step Instructions:

Mini Purse



I first trimmed Garnet Cardstock to 3 1/8" x 5 3/4" and scored it at 1 1/2" and 1 3/4".

I then cut the Garnet Cardstock twice to 3 1/4" x 5 3/4".

Following on from this I die-cut the Garnet Cardstock with the Elegance Border Die and The Gift Of Giving Merry Christmas Die. I adhered it onto the cardstock using All Purpose Glue.


I foiled with the Elegance Sending Love Hotfoil Stamp using Garnet Cardstock, Silver Foil Matte Finish Heat Activated Foil and the GoPress and Foil Machine. I then die-cut the foiled sentiment using the Elegance Sending Love Die.

I then cut Elegance Patterned Paper to 2 3/4" x 4 1/2", adhered it onto the small notebook and also added a 2023 Calendar Tab.


Following on from this I cut Smooth White Cardstock to 3" x 5 1/2" and embossed it with the Elegance Framed Bouquet Embossing Folder. I also added ribbon for handles.

I stamped the Aster Stamp onto Smooth White Cardstock using the Card Deco Essentials Christmas Red, Burgundy Eggplant Pigment Ink and die-cut it with the Elegance Aster Die. I added it onto the purse front using 3D foam dots.


Following on from this I die-cut Jungle Cardstock with the Elegance You Are Adorable Leave Dies and added Emerald Green Pearls.

Card


I first trimmed Garnet Cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4" and fold to create a card base.

I then cut the following cardstock layers:
  • Smooth White Cardstock to 3 3/8" x 4 5/8" and adhered it onto the card front.
  • Garnet Cardstock to 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" and layer it onto the white cardstock.
  • Blending Card to 2 7/8" x 4 1/8". 
Following on from this I stamped the Elegance Aster Stamp randomly onto the Blending Card using the Colour Outline Ink Pad Soft Black and coloured it with the Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers.


Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers Combination:

Aster:  206, 193, 220, 188

I stamped a Christmas Sentiment Stamp onto the Smooth White Cardstock using the Embossing Ink Pad, Mirror Platinum Classic Metallics Embossing Powder and heat embossed it.

I then foiled with the Elegance Sending Love Hotfoil Stamp using Garnet Cardstock, Silver Foil Matte Finish Heat Activated Foil and the GoPress and Foil Machine. I then die-cut the foiled sentiment with the Elegance Sending Love Die. 


To finish I added Emerald Green Pearls onto the card front.

Aster Christmas Card - Couture Creations

Hi Everyone, Anet here today and welcome to my inspiration post.

Christmas is just around the corner and I made a Christmas Card using an embossing technique that takes the embossed cardstock to a next level. I used the Elegance Collection from Couture Creations.


Step by Step Instructions:

Ink-Blending With Embossing Folder Technique

I first trimmed Garnet Cardstock to 4 1/4" x 11" and score it at 5 1/2" to create the card base.

I then cut white cardstock twice to 4" x 5 1/4" and adhered one of them onto the inside of the card. 

I foiled with the Elegance Sending Love Hotfoil Stamp using white cardstock, Gold Vintage Matt Finish Heat Activated Foil and the GoPress and Foil Machine.

Following on from this I stamped a Christmas Sentiment, heat embossed it and layered it onto the card front.

I then cut Smooth White Cardstock to 3 3/4" x 5" and embossed it with the Elegance Framed Bouquet DL Embossing Folder. 

To take the embossed cardstock to the next level I inked it using Christmas Green Pigment Ink with the Blending Brush.


Following on from this I die-cut the inked embossed cardstock with the Circle Die and adhered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.

I then stamped the Elegance Aster Mini Layering Stamp onto Smooth White Cardstock using the Card Deco Essentials Christmas Red Pigment Ink and die-cut it with the Elegance Aster Die. I added it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.


To finish I die-cut Mirror Board Matte Gold Lines Cardstock with the Elegance You Are Adorable Leaf Dies and added it to the cluster of stamped flowers.

Elegance Christmas Card - Couture Creations

Hi Everyone, Anet here today and welcome to my inspiration post.

I made a Christmas Card using different techniques and used the Elegance Collection from Couture Creations.


Step by Step Instructions:

Techniques - Foil, Embossing and Die-Cut

I used a White Tall Card for the card base. I then trimmed Navy Cardstock to 3 5/8" x 7 3/4" and embossed it with the Elegance Framed Bouquet DL Embossing Folder.

I then die-cut Mirror Board Matte Silver Cardstock with the Elegance Beautiful DL Border Die and layered it onto the embossed cardstock.


Following on from this I die-cut Navy Cardstock with the Scalloped Circle Die, stamped a Christmas Sentiment using the Embossing Ink Pad, Mirror Platinum Classic Metallics Embossing Powder and heat embossed it. I then layered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.


I then foiled with the Elegance Sending Love Hotfoil Stamp using Navy Cardstock, Silver Matt Finish Heat Activated Foil and the GoPress and Foil Machine.

To finish I die-cut Mirror Board Matte Silver Cardstock with the Elegance Beautiful DL Border, You Are Adorable Leaf, Deck The Halls Hanging Bauble Ribbon Dies and adhered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.
