Hi Everyone, are you ready ...
It is time for a new challenge at Paper Shelter
and the theme is Fun Folds
Now here is my card
using On Air!
Coloured with Copic Sketch Markers.
I decided to make a Z Fold Easel Card and found the inspiration on Lynn's Blog.
Z Fold Card Base:
First I trimmed cardstock to 4 1/4" x 11" and scored it at the 11" side at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". Accordion fold on the score lines to create the Z-fold section of the card.
Easel Card:
Following on from this I cut cardstock to 3 3/4" x 10" and score it at the 10" side at 5". Fold in half on the score line. Adhere the back of this folded card to the inside top section of the Z Fold Card Base.
I then cut cardstock twice to 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" and adhered the first panel onto the inside of the easel card.
Following on from this I die-cut with the Couture Creations Peaceful Peonies Tall Branches and Marianne Design Flower Set and adhered the die-cuts onto the inside the easel card.
I then embossed the second panel using the Altenew Inky Trellis Stencil and I think it just created a beautiful textured background.
Tip:
Just remember to use an embossing mat and the special sandwich for your die-cut machine in order to get the perfect embossing with the stencil.
Following on from this I ink blend the embossed panel using the Altenew Blue Mountains Alpine Fresh Dye Ink and adhered it onto the front of the easel card using Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
I then coloured the On Air! image with Copic Alcohol Ink Markers, fussy-cut it and adhered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.
Following on from this I die-cut with the Couture Creations Numeric Set and adhered it onto the card front.
To finish I cut cardstock to 3/4" x 2 1/2", stamped a sentiment and heat embossed it. I layered it onto the cardstock that measures 1" x 2 3/4" and adhered it onto the Z fold flap using 3D foam dots.
Our Sponsor The Paper Shelter are offering one lucky winner a fabulous gift certificate of $30. But, you must use a Paper Shelter product on your card or project. This could be a Paper Shelter Image, Paper or Printable. If you don't use a Paper Shelter product, you could still win 3 digi images of your own choice. So it really is a win win situation don't you think.
Make sure you go over to The Paper Shelter Shop and take a look at all the beautiful digital stamps.
