Hello Card - Irresistible Inking Techniques - AECP
Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my tenth completed AECP Level 1 – Irresistible Inking Techniques Card.
The course demonstrated how to stretch the purpose of ink pads and thinking out of the box. For today's card I used a few techniques to get more use out of my ink pads.
First I create my own background using a brayer with the Altenew Blue Mountains Indigo Skies Fresh Dye Ink.
Following on from this I heat embossed the Altenew Delicate Garden Sentiment Stamp.
I then heat embossed the Altenew Delicate Garden Flower Stamp, coloured it using a water brush, the Altenew Woodland Escape and Frosted Foliage Fresh Dye Ink.
To finish I die-cut with the Altenew Delicate Garden Die Set and adhere it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.
I will share more of my projects from the AECP as I work my way through the courses so stay tuned for more cardmaking posts!

Celebrate Card - Easy Die Cutting Techniques - AECP
Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my ninth completed AECP Level 1 – Easy Die Cutting Techniques Card.
The course demonstrated how to get more use out of your dies. For today's card I used a few die-cut techniques to create my card.
First I embossed white cardstock with the Altenew Scallops Cover Die. I just love the beautiful textured background I achieved with the cover die.
Tip:
Just remember to use an embossing mat and the special sandwich for your die-cut machine in order to get the perfect embossing with the cover die.
Following on from this I stamped the Altenew Delicate Garden Outline Stamp onto blending cardstock and coloured it with the Altenew Artist Markers Mystic Garden Set J. The alcohol markers just blends perfectly and the end result is a beautiful bright and striking coloured image.
I then die-cut the coloured flower image with the Altenew Delicate Garden Die Set. I just needed to put it through once to achieve a perfect cut.
To finish I stamped the Altenew Label Love Sentiment Stamp and adhered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.
I will share more of my projects from the AECP as I work my way through the courses so stay tuned for more cardmaking posts!

Seas The Day Card - Celebration Stencil Techniques - AECP
Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my seventh completed AECP Level 1 – Celebration Stencil Techniques Card.
The course demonstrated how to utilize stencils to your projects with minimal supplies. For today's card I made a Masculine card. I have used a few techniques creating my card.
First I create my own colour embossing paste by tinting the embossing paste with the Altenew Blue Mountains Indigo Skies Fresh Dye Ink. I then used it through the Altenew Buffalo Plaid Builder Stencil to get texture and also dimension.
Tip:
When working with embossing paste you must clean your stencil and palette knife right away. Do not allow it to dry, because it will be very difficult to clean.
Following on from this I stamped the Altenew Seas The Day Stamp onto blending cardstock and coloured it with the Altenew Artist Markers Mystic Garden Set J. The alcohol markers just blends perfectly and the end result is a beautiful bright and striking coloured image.
I then added numbers onto the sail of the boat using my Calligraphy Pen and fussy-cut it. I adhered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.
To finish I heat embossed the Altenew Seas The Day Sentiment Stamp.
I will share more of my projects from the AECP as I work my way through the courses so stay tuned for more cardmaking posts!

First I used the Stencil and Foil Technique and created a beautiful foil texture background.
Following on from this I used the Masking Technique and stamped the Altenew Dry Brush Poinsettia Stamp and Altenew Pine Cone Stamp onto cardstock using the Altenew Woodland Escape Fresh Dye Ink, Frosted Foliage Fresh Dye Ink and Altenew Summer Afternoon Crisp Dye Ink.

Capture Moment Card - For The Guys - AECP
Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my fifth completed AECP Level 1 – For The Guys Card.
The course demonstrated how to confidently create a masculine card using some tips and techniques. For today's card I used geometric patterns and a stamped image to create a masculine card.
First I randomly stamped the Altenew Sohcahtoa Stamp onto the panel using the Altenew Blue Mountains Indigo Skies Fresh Dye Inks, Sweet Dreams Galactic Stream Crisp Dye Ink, Summer Afternoon Paper Bag Crisp Dye Ink. I wanted a geometric pattern representing a film strip and I think it came out nicely.
Following on from this I stamped the Altenew Enjoy Your Journey Camera Stamp onto cardstock and coloured it with Alcohol Ink Markers.
To finish I stamped the Altenew Enjoy Your Journey Sentiment Stamp and fussy-cut it.
I will share more of my projects from the AECP as I work my way through the courses so stay tuned for more cardmaking posts!
