Hi Everyone, I am so exited to be joining in the Altenew February 2023 Marvelous Monthly Series Release Blog Hop and I invite you to come hoping along to celebrate!
You should have arrived here from Erum's wonderful blog! I made three cards focusing on two new products:
Be sure to check out my Video Tutorial below to learn how to colour the embossed Mini Wild Dog Rose 3D Embossing Image with the Artistry Alcohol Markers Mystic Garden Set J.
I have decided to play with a few techniques for my cards.
Card 1
First I created a background using the masking technique. I stamped the Eclectic Bouquet Fern and Leaf Stamps randomly and it created a beautiful textured background.
Following on from this I stamped the pretty Eclectic Bouquet Flower Stamp and coloured it with the Artistry Alcohol Markers Mystic Garden Set J. The alcohol markers just blends perfectly and the end result is a beautiful bright and striking coloured image.
I then die-cut the pretty coloured image with the Eclectic Bouquet Die. The matching die just die-cut smoothly and made it effortless to have a flower die-cut that you can adhere onto a card front.
Card 2
First I stamped the pretty Eclectic Bouquet Flower Stamp and coloured it with the Artistry Alcohol Markers Mystic Garden Set J.
The Altenew Alcohol Ink Markers have a combined Soft Brush Tip and Hard Bullet Tip. You achieve effortless blending with these superior quality alcohol markers. The end result is a beautiful bright and striking coloured image.
Tip: When colouring with Alcohol Ink Markers it is important to use blending cardstock to prevent bleeding.
To finish I stamped the Eclectic Bouquet Sentiment Stamp, heat embossed it and die-cut it with the matching die-cut. This made it super ease to create a pretty sentiment for my project.
Card 3
First I embossed with the beautiful Eclectic Bouquet 3D Embossing Folder. Just love the pretty erased flower image you get.
Following on from this I used the Eclectic Bouquet Layering Stencils to colour the image. The stencils makes it so easy to create light and dark shading on the Eclectic Bouquet embossed image.
To finish I then stamped the Eclectic Bouquet Sentiment Stamp and heat embossed it. I also ink blend the background and the beautiful Eclectic Bouquet embossed image just pops up more.
