Lavendar Desk Top Calendars - Couture Creations

Hi Everyone, Anet here today and welcome to my inspiration post.

I made Desk Top Calendars with the Lavender Love Collection from Couture Creations. 

Step by Step Instructions:

Desk Top Calendar 1

I first trimmed Smooth White cardstock to 4 1/2" x 11" and score it at 5 1/2" to create card base.

For the stand I trimmed white cardstock to 4" x 4 1/2" and score 4" side at 1/2" and 2" turn it and score it at 1/2". I fold it in half, then fold 1/2" flaps back (looks like a "w") and adhere the stand along the inside edges of the tent (middle fold is up).

I trimmed Caledon Cardstock to 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" and Lavender Love Patterned Paper 6 to 4" x 5".

I then cut Caledon Cardstock to 2 1/8" x 3 1/8" layered the Calendar Tab 2023 onto the cardstock and adhered onto the desk top front. 

To finish I fussy-cut Lavender Love Patterned Paper 8 and adhered the butterfly ephemera onto the desk top front. I also added Seafoam 3D Liquid Drops onto the butterfly ephemera.

I followed the same measurements for the Desk Top Calendar base as above.

I trimmed Violet Cardstock to 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" and Lavender Love Patterned Paper 3 to 4" x 5".

I then cut Violet Cardstock to 2 1/8" x 3 1/8" layered the Calendar Tab 2023 onto the cardstock and adhered onto the desk top front. 

To finish I fussy-cut Lavender Love Patterned Paper 8 and adhered the butterfly ephemera onto the desk top front. I also added Seafoam 3D Liquid Drops onto the butterfly ephemera.

Altenew October 2022 Inspiration Challenge

Hi Everyone, hope you are all having a good week. I would like to share a card with you that I am entering into the Altenew October 2022 Inspiration Challenge.

I enjoyed creating this card using the Altenew Inspiration Photo.  

I first die-cut gold cardstock using the Altenew Scallops Cover Die. My idea was to create a garden wired fence background and the scallop die-cut background gives it an elegant and beautiful texture.

I then stamped the Altenew Build-A-Flower Laelia Leaf Stamp onto white cardstock and die-cut it using the Altenew Build-A-Flower Laelia Leaf Die. I adhered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.

Following on from this I stamped the Altenew Majestic Bloom Flower onto blending cardstock and coloured it with Copic Sketch Markers. I added it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.

I then foiled and die-cut white cardstock with a Hotfoil Stamp, Gold Heat Activated Foil and Foil Machine.

Following on from this I adhered the foiled sentiment onto the card front using 3D foam dots and added gemstones to finish.

My Garden Layout - Couture Creations

Hi Everyone, Anet here today and welcome to my inspiration post.

I made a Scrapbook Layout with the Lavender Love Collection from Couture Creations. My photographer husband took this beautiful photo of a bee visiting our lavender garden and I think the pretty Lavender Love Patterned Paper just enhanced the photo.

Step by Step Instructions:

I have used Patterned Paper 2 from the Lavender Love Collection and made distressed layers with Paper 2 and 3. I adhered the layered photo using Liquid Scrap Spots.

My background page was textured with Gesso, Couture Creations Heat Activated Foil and a Stencil.

Once dried I foiled and die-cut the Lavender Love Rustic Wreath Cut and Create Die with Petal Pink Iridescent Finish Heat Activated Foil using the GoPress and Foil Machine. I die-cut Vervain Cardstock with the Lavender Love Garden Frame Sentiment Die.

Following on from this I started adding flowers and die-cuts using the Lavender Love Ephemera. I also added Seafoam 3D Liquid Drops onto the butterfly ephemera and mould it using the Scoring and Moulding Tool Set.

To finish off my layout I die-cut Driftwood and Vervain Cardstock with the Lavender Love Weathered Fences and Garden Frame Dies and added it to my clusters of ephemera flowers.

Butterfly Shadow Box Frame Card - Couture Creations

Hi Everyone, Anet here today and welcome to my inspiration post.

I made a Shadow Box Frame Card with the Lavender Love Collection from Couture Creations. I coloured the Lavender Love Floral Butterfly Image with the Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers.

I found the inspiration from Dawn's Blog. I did not follow her measurements, instead I changed the sizes and put my spin on it.

I trimmed Blending Card to 4 1/4" x 5 1/4", stamped the Floral Butterfly Stamp onto the card using the Colour Outline Ink Pad Soft Black and coloured it with the Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers.

Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers Combinations:

Butterfly: 319, 323, 327, 2213, 106, 271, 2715, 2665, 006, White Gel Pen

Lavender: 271, 2715, 268, 618

Leaves: 7493, 377, 371

Yellow Flowers: 917, 106, 142, White Gel Pen

Blue Green Flowers: 319, 323, 327, 2213, White Gel Pen

I then stamped a sentiment, heat emboss it and adhered the coloured image onto the inside of the frame using double sided tape. I also added some 3D Pearls Liquid Drops onto the butterfly image.

I cut the Smooth White Cardstock to 4 3/4" x 5 1/4". I die-cut Vervain Cardstock with the Lavender Love Garden Frame Die, layered it onto the cardstock and adhered it onto the inside of the card using double sided tape.

I then cut the Caloden Cardstock to 5" x 5 1/2" and 3 3/4" x 4 3/8". I also cut Lavender Love Patterned Paper to 4 3/4" x 5 1/4" and 3 1/2" x 4 1/8". I layered the Lavender Love Patterned Paper onto the cardstock and adhered it onto the card front.

I adhered the inked Lavender Love Rustic Wreath die-cut onto the card front using 3D foam dots.

I then die-cut the Caloden and Vervain Cardstock with the Lavender Love Garden Frame Lavender Dies and adhered it onto the Lavender Love Rustic Wreath die-cut.

I die-cut the Smooth White Cardstock with the Lavender Love Garden Frame Bee Dies and inked it with the Gold Card Deco Essentials Pigment Ink using the Medium Blending Brush. 

I then die-cut the Vervain Cardstock with the Lavender Love Garden Frame My Garden Sentiment Die and adhered it onto the card front using the All Purpose Art Glue to finish.
