Couture Creations 2017/18 Design Team Audition

Hi Everyone,

I want to share four projects I made for the Couture Creations 2017/18 Design Team Audition.  I am excited about the possibility to become part of their design team.

I love using Couture Creations and Ultimate Crafts products. The Couture Creations embossing folders creates beautiful texture and the dies just die-cut beautifully.

When I first started making cards my first purchase was Couture Creations dies and embossing folders and I am still fond of using them om my cards on a regular basis.

Now here is my cards

Card 1 - A Little Birdie Told Me

To create this card I used pattern paper, Couture Creations Embossing Folder, Couture Creations and Ultimate Crafts Dies and Ultimate Crafts Stamps.

• Couture Creations Blossom Yarn Doily Die
• Couture Creations Circle Die
• Couture Creations Scallop Oval Die
• Ultimate Crafts Mini Sprigs Die
• Ultimate Crafts L'aquarelle Designs - Spread your wings Stamp
• Copic Sketch Markers
• Distress Ink: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Old Paper and Antique Linen
• Gold and Pearl Acrylic Metallic Paint
• Tim Holtz Lace Stencil
• Finnabair Modelling Paste 

Stamp stamps onto blender card. Colour and fussy cut. Cut pattern paper and use distress ink around edges.

Die-cut a white cardstock circle and emboss. Colour with distress ink and metallic paint. Die-cut a white cardstock doily and use distress ink around doily.

Die-cut sprigs and paint with metallic paint. Die-cut a white cardstock scallop oval and stamp sentiment. Use stencil and modeling paste to create texture.

Card 2 - Hello

I created a mixed media card using Couture Creations Embossing Folder, Couture Creations and Ultimate Crafts Dies, Ultimate Crafts Stamps and different mediums.

• Ultimate Crafts L'aquarelle Designs - Spread your wings Stamp
• Copic Sketch Markers
• Distress Ink: Faded Jeans, Vintage Photo, Old Paper and Antique Linen
• Silver Acrylic Metallic Paint
• MFT Fishtail Die
• Tim Holtz Latticework Stencil
• Natural Twine
• Finnabair Clear Gesso
• Finnabair Modelling Paste 

Stamp dragonfly onto blender card. Colour and fussy cut. Emboss white cardstock. Colour with distress ink and metallic paint.

Die-cut a white cardstock circle and stamp script. Colour with distress ink. Stencil circle with modelling paste.  Use metallic paint over texture.

Die-cut sprigs and paint with metallic paint. Die-cut a white cardstock fishtail and colour with distress ink and metallic paint. Use distress ink on all the edges.

Card 3 - Let's Celebrate

I created a mixed media card using Couture Creations Embossing Folder, Ultimate Crafts Stamps, Couture Creations and Ultimate Crafts Dies and different mediums.

• Couture Creations Scalloped Rectangle
• Ultimate Crafts Mini Sprigs Die
• Ultimate Crafts L'aquarelle Designs - You Are Beautiful Inside Stamp
• Ultimate Crafts L'aquarelle Designs - Spread your wings Stamp
• Copic Sketch Markers
• Distress Ink: Tattered Rose, Old Paper and Vintage Photo
• Pearl and Gold Acrylic Metallic Paint
• Natural Twine
• Finnabair Clear and Black Gesso
• Ranger Gold Stickles

Stamp flowers and butterfly onto blender card. Colour and fussy cut. Emboss white cardstock. Colour with distress ink and metallic paint.

Stamp postcard stamp on mixed media cardstock.  Add gesso and colour with distress ink. Add black gesso circles randomly.

Stamp sentiment on white cardstock. Colour with distress ink and metallic paint. Die-cut sprigs and paint with metallic paint. Use distress ink on all the edges.

Card 4 - Let's Get Nautical

For this card I wanted to incorporate mixed media with dies.

Material List:

• Darkroom Door Woodgrain Stamp
• LOTV Sentiment Tag.
• Dies: Cottage Cutz Rope Ladder and Pelican. MFT Let's Get Nautical. Marianne Design Creatables Sea Shells. Elizabeth Crafts Ropes.
• Finnabair Clear and Black Gesso
• Gold Acrylic Metallic Paint
• Tim Holtz Bubble Stencil.
• Distress Ink: Vintage Photo, Fade Jeans, Broken China, Wild Honey, Antique Linen and Stormy Sky.
• Ranger Gold Stickles.

Stamp background stamp and colour with distress ink. Die-cut dies and stamp with background stamp. Colour with distress ink.

Use stencil and modelling paste in different corners.  Randomly use bubble wrap, Gesso and Metallic Paint. Use distress ink on all the edges.
