Capture Moment Card - For The Guys - AECP

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my fifth completed AECP Level 1 – For The Guys Card. 

The course demonstrated how to confidently create a masculine card using some tips and techniques. For today's card I used geometric patterns and a stamped image to create a masculine card.

First I randomly stamped the Altenew Sohcahtoa Stamp onto the panel using the Altenew Blue Mountains Indigo Skies Fresh Dye Inks, Sweet Dreams Galactic Stream Crisp Dye Ink, Summer Afternoon Paper Bag Crisp Dye Ink. I wanted a geometric pattern representing a film strip and I think it came out nicely.

Following on from this I stamped the Altenew Enjoy Your Journey Camera Stamp onto cardstock and coloured it with Alcohol Ink Markers.

To finish I stamped the Altenew Enjoy Your Journey Sentiment Stamp and fussy-cut it.

Wild Geranium Card - Easy Ink Blending - AECP

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my fourth completed AECP Level 1 – Easy Ink Blending Techniques Card. 

The course demonstrated how to use your ink pads and achieve amazing ink blending results for your projects. For today's card I used two techniques to create a background and focal point.

First I used the Ombre Effect Technique to create a background using the Altenew Sweet Dreams Aqualicious Crisp Dye Ink.

Following on from this I stamped the Altenew Wild Geranium Stamp onto cardstock and heat emboss it using the Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder.

I then used the Emboss Resist Technique and ink blend the white embossed Wild Geranium flower using the Altenew Sweet Dreams Galactic Stream and Teal Cave Crisp Dye Inks. It just created a stunning result.

To finish I stamped the Altenew Wild Geranium Sentiment Stamp and heat emboss it using the Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder. I then die-cut the embossed sentiment using the Altenew Wild Geranium Sentiment Die.

Delicate Garden Card - Clean & Simple Boutique - AECP

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my third completed AECP Level 1 – Clean & Simple Boutique Card. 

The course demonstrated how to create a card with a minimal look, but still have a "WOW" factor. Today's card is very easy to create and I decided to play with the Stencil Foil Technique.

First I used the Altenew Delicate Garden Outline Stamp Set and stamped it onto blending cardstock. 

Following on from this I coloured it with the Altenew Artist Markers Mystic Garden Set J. The alcohol markers just blends perfectly and the end result is a beautiful bright and striking coloured image.

Tip: When colouring with Alcohol Ink Markers it is important to use blending cardstock to prevent bleeding.

I then used the Stencil Foil Technique. I foiled the pretty Altenew Delicate Garden Flower Buds using the Altenew Delicate Garden Stencil and Altenew Eclectic Bouquet Stencil.

To finish I then stamped the Altenew Label Love Sentiment Stamp and adhere it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.

Laelia Card - All About Layering 4 - AECP

Hi Everyone, today I am sharing with you my second completed AECP Level 1 – All About Layering 4 Card. 

I enjoyed this course and learned wonderful ideas and techniques. It demonstrated how to use multiple stamps from a set, layer it with different inks and create a focal image. I decided to create a card using a few techniques.

First I used the Altenew Build-A-Flower - Laelia Layering Stamp and stamped the flowers and leaves onto cardstock.

Following on from this I then layer it using the Altenew Summer Afternoon Crisp, Woodland Escape and Frosted Foliage Fresh Dye Ink. 

I arranged the flowers and leaves in a cluster onto the card front using 3D foam dots. The Laelia flowers and leaves just makes a stunning focal image.

Following on from this I used the Ombre Effect Technique to create a background using the Altenew Blue Mountains Fresh Dye Inks. Just love how the background turned out. 

To finish I stamped the Altenew Snowing Stamp randomly on the card front using black ink. I then stamped the Altenew Build-A-Flower - Laelia Sentiment Stamp onto black cardstock and heat emboss it using the Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder.

Majestic Bloom Card - All About Layering 3 - AECP

Hi Everyone, I am super excited to have been accepted into the Altenew Educator Certification Program! This program will give me the opportunity to enhance my skills, learn new techniques and work toward my goal of teaching both live and virtual workshops.

Today I am sharing with you my first completed AECP Level 1 – All About Layering 3 Card. The inspired course demonstrated how to use multiple stamps from a set, layer it with different inks and create a focal image.

I used the Altenew Majestic Bloom Add-On Stamp and decided to use a few techniques. First I used the Top and Bottom Stamping Technique. I found it easier to stamp the outline flower stamp first with black ink and then layer the other stamps with different inks. 

Following on from this I used the multiple flower stamps in the set and layered it using the Altenew Water Hyacinth, Alpine Aster, Crystal Violet and Indigo Skies Trailblazing Fresh Dye Inks. I just love the beautiful dark to light shading I achieved with the inks.

I then used the masking technique to stamp the flower randomly around the first flower at the bottom and once more at the top. Again I layered the flower stamps using the fresh dye inks.

Tip: Stamp the Majestic Bloom Stamp onto a post-it-note and then fussy-cut it to create a mask flower.

Following on from this I also used the masking technique to stamp the leaves using the Altenew Eucalyptus and Forest Fern Fresh Dye Inks.

I then coloured the leaves using the Altenew Hawaiian Shores Brush & Fine Tip Pens (Water-Based) and a water brush.

To create 3D dimension images I stamped the flower stamp twice onto cardstock with black ink, layered the flower stamps using the fresh dye inks and fussy-cut it.

To finish I heat embossed a sentiment and added some gems.
