You Make Me Smile Layout - Couture Creations

Hi Everyone, Anet here today and welcome to my inspiration post.

I made a Scrapbook Layout with the Lavender Love Collection from Couture Creations. 


Step by Step Instructions:

My background page was stamped with the Wood Panel Background, Sunflower and Daffodils Stamps randomly around the edges using the Acrylic Block Set and Pale Brown Dye Ink.

Once dried I added some light blending around the edges using Blue Purple Pigment Ink and Blending Brush.

My background page was textured with Gesso and the Flourish & Thrive Christmas Bells and Box Leaf Waxflowers Stencils.

Once dried light blending was added over the texture using Olive Green Pigment Ink and a Blending Brush.

The Lavender Images in the top and bottom corners was stamped onto Watercolour Paper using the Lavender Love Vintage Lavender Stamp, coloured with Blue Purple, Olive Green, Violet and Christmas Green Pigment Ink and a water brush. Once dried it was adhered onto the layout using Turbo Tacky Glue.

I have used Lavender Love Patterned Paper 1 and 4, distressed it and made layers. I added it onto the layout using Liquid Scrap Dots.


The Lavender Lover Garden Frames in the top and bottom corners was die-cut with Vervain Cardstock and the Lavender Love Garden Frame Die and adhered onto the layout using All Purpose Art Glue.


For the two titles I die-cut the Mirror Board Matte Brown Foil Cardstock with the Homely Florals Smile Sentiment Dies and adhered it onto the layout.

For embellishments I die-cut Mirror Board Matte Brown Foil Cardstock with the Lavender Love Garden Frame Bee Dies and adhered it onto the layout. 


Following on from this I added a Lavender Love Rustic Wreath Cut and Create Die die-cut and foiled die-cut onto the layout.

Following on from this I started adding flowers using the Lavender Love Garden Frame Lavender Die-cuts which I die-cut with Caloden and Vervain Cardstock. 


For more flowers and leaves I die-cut Smooth White Cardstock with the Peaceful Peonies Tall Branches Die, Le Petit Jardin Evening Branch and C'est La Vie Geraniums Dies. It was coloured with Olive Green and Violet Pigment Ink using the Blending Brush and added to my clusters of flowers using Quick Dry Adhesive.


Following from this I die-cut Ivory Cardstock with the Window Card Die and adhered it onto the layout.

To finish off my layout I added Resin embellishments.

Lavender Pop-Up Box Card - Couture Creations

Hi Everyone, Anet here today and welcome to my inspiration post. 

I love lavender and just knew that a Pop-Up Box Card will showcase the Lavender Love Collection perfectly from Couture Creations.





Step by Step Instructions:

Follow my video below where I show you how to use the Lavender Love Rustic Wreath Cut and Create Die in 3 ways.

Box 

I first trimmed Smooth White Cardstock twice to 4" x 6".

I then stamped the white cardstock with the Wood Panel Background Stamp using the Stamp and Colour Outline Ink Pad Soft Grey on both sides.


I scored the 6" side at 1/2" and 2" and the 4" side at 2". Repeat this for both the white cardstock pieces.


I then cut the 6" side 1/2" and 2" score lines up to the 2" score line. Repeat this for both the white cardstock pieces.


Cut out the 6" side at the 1/2" fold up to 2" score line.


I then added Turbo Tacky Glue to the tabs and adhered the two white cardstock pieces to make a box.


Inserts

I cut Smooth White Cardstock to 2" x 4 1/2". 

I then stamped the white cardstock with the Wood Panel Background Stamp using the Stamp and Colour Outline Ink Pad Soft Grey on both sides.

I scored the 4 1/2" side at 1/4" on both sides and then cut two strips of 1" wide.


I then fold the strips into a Z-Fold and adhered the strips to the box using Turbo Tacky Glue.


Tip:  Make sure the box folds both ways.


I die-cut Royal Midnight, Jungle and Mirror Board Matte Brown Foil Cardstock with the Lavender Love Garden Frame Dies and adhered it onto box using All Purpose Art Glue.


I then cut Smooth White Cardstock to 3 3/8" x 3 3/8" and stamped a birthday sentiment using Brown Pigment Ink. I adhered it onto the back of the box using Turbo Tacky Glue.


I foiled with the Lavender Love Rustic Wreath Cut and Create Die using the GoPress Foil Machine and Bronze Green Heat Activated Foil. I adhered it onto the front flap using 3D foam dots to finish.

Altenew August 2022 Inspiration Challenge

Hi Everyone, hope you are all having a good week. I would like to share a card with you that I am entering into the Altenew August 2022 Inspiration Challenge.



This is definitely not one of my colour combinations I will go for first when creating a card, but I was surprised how well it turned out. I have accomplish beautiful rich colours.   

I first stamped the Altenew Build-A-Flower Laelia Leaf Stamp randomly on white cardstock using Antique Linen Oxide Distress Ink.

I then stamped the Altenew Build-A-Flower Laelia Flower Stamp onto blending cardstock and coloured it with Copic Sketch Markers.

Following from that I die-cut the Laelia Flower Image with the Altenew Build-A-Flower Laelia Die and adhered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.

I stamped a sentiment onto the card front and added Nuvo Crystal Drops to finish.

Lavender Note Holder - Couture Creations

Hi Everyone, Anet here today and welcome to my inspiration post. 

If you wondered how to take your beautiful Alcohol Ink Background a step further, then I just have a wonderful creative technique for you. I made a Note Holder with the Alcohol Ink Background and also used the new Lavender Love Collection from Couture Creations.

I found the inspiration from Tiffany Solorio.

I first trimmed Jungle Cardstock to 4 1/2" x 11" and score it at 5 1/2" to create the note holder base.

For the stand I trimmed Jungle Cardstock to 4" x 4 1/2" and score it at the 4" side at 1/2" and 2". I then turned it and score it again at 1/2". Fold it in half, then fold 1/2" flaps back (looks like a "w") and adhere the stand along the inside edges of the tent (middle fold is up).


I then trimmed the Alcohol Ink Background to 4" x 5". I used Plum, Verdant and Apple Golden Age Alcohol Ink to create the background. Follow my video tutorial above where I show you how to use the Embossing Technique on your Alcohol Ink Background. Video Link.


For the Note Pocket a trimmed Jungle Cardstock to 5 7/8" x 3" and score it at the 5 7/8" side at 1/2" and 7/8" turned it and score it again at 1/2" and 7/8".

On the 3" side I scored it once at 1/2" and 7/8". I trimmed the Alcohol Ink Background to 2" x 3 7/8" and adhered it onto the back of the note holder.


I then trimmed Jungle Cardstock to 3" x 4" and adhered it onto the front of the note holder.

I die-cut Royal Midnight and Jungle Cardstock with the Lavender Love Garden Frame Die and adhered it onto the front and back of the note holder using 3D foam dots and All Purpose Art Glue.


I then die-cut Mirror Board Cardstock with the Lavender Love Garden Frame Dies and adhere it onto the front of the note holder using 3D foam dots to finish.

Peony Gift Box and Card - Couture Creations

Hi Everyone, Anet here today and welcome to my inspiration post. 

I made a Gift Box and Card using the Vintage Blooms Collection from Couture Creations. I coloured the Peony Image with the Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers.




I found the inspiration from Julie - Stampin' Gala. I did not follow her measurements and instead made my own box to fit a hand cream gift.

Step by Step Instructions:

Card

I first trimmed Garnet Cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4" and fold to create a card base.

I then cut the following cardstock layers:
  • Smooth White Cardstock to 4 5/8" x 3 3/8" and adhered it onto the card front using 3D foam dots.
  • Garnet Cardstock to 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" and layer it onto the card front.
  • Black Cardstock to 4 1/8" x 2 7/8" and layer it onto the card front.
  • Blending Card to 4" x 2 3/4". 
I stamped the Peony Stamp randomly onto the Blending Card using the Colour Outline Ink Pad Soft Black and coloured it with the Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers.


Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers Combinations:

Peony: 3935, 106, 123, 206, 193, 220, 188
Leaves: 2288, 358, 350

I then stamped a Thank You Sentiment, heat emboss it and added some gemstones All Purpose Art Glue.

I cut Gold Mirror Board to 1/4" x 4" and adhered it onto card front.

Box

My video tutorial below will show you how to create the fabulous Peony Gift Box.

I then trimmed black cardstock to 6 3/8" x 2 1/4" and adhered it onto the box using Tacky Glue.

I cut Blending Card to 2" x 6 1/8, stamped the Peony Stamp randomly onto the Card using the Colour Outline Ink Pad Soft Black and coloured it with the Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers.


Twin Tip Alcohol Ink Markers Combinations:

Peony: 3935, 106, 123, 206, 193, 220, 188
Leaves: 2288, 358, 350

I then stamped a Thank You Sentiment, heat emboss it and added some gemstones using the All Purpose Art Glue.

To finish I cut Gold Mirror Board to 1/4" x 2" and adhered it onto box.
