Hi Everyone, this week and next, rather than running our usual Blog Hop, the Design team at The Paper Shelter is honouring our beautiful co-founder Veronica, who tragically left us on September, 25th 2024.
Veronica was a kind, supportive, beautiful soul, who alongside her co-founder Pedro, produced the images we all know and love to create with. There is a vacuum in the world today, where Veronica used to be, and we will miss her terribly.
Now here is my card
I used the butterfly, because it symbolize rebirth, hope and love.
Techniques I used:
- I coloured the butterfly Armour Art Digital Coloring Book image using Copic Sketch Markers.
- Embossed jade cardstock using the Altenew Ribbon Waves 3D Embossing Folder.
- Ink blend the corners using the Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink.
- Stamp Altenew Lovely Rose Peony Sentiment Stamp with Embossing Ink and heat emboss with Altenew Gold Crisp Embossing Powder.
- Die-cut with co-ordinating Altenew Lovely Rose Peony Die.
To finish I added some splatters using the Altenew Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set and some sequins.
