Snowman Maven - The Paper Shelter

Hi Everyone, are you ready ...

It is time for a new challenge at Paper Shelter

and the theme is Anything Goes.

Now here is my card 

using Snowman Maven.

Techniques I used:

Colour Snowman Maven Image using Copic Sketch Markers.

Embossed the white cardstock using the Altenew Dotted Waves Debossing Cover Die.

Ink blend background using Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron and Brushed Corduro

      Inks.

I then spritz water onto the ink blended background.

Die-cut white cardstock using the Poppystamps Picket Fence Die.

Die-cut white cardstock using theCouture Creations The Gift Of Giving Merry Christmas Die.

To finish I added splatters using the Altenew Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set and some pearl

     embellishments.

Orange Blossom Christmas Card

Hi Everyone, I would like to share a Christmas card with you using the Altenew Orange Blossom Die Set. 

I followed the Freshly Made Sketches #666 sketch and create my Christmas card.  When I saw the sketch I just knew I wanted to use the Altenew Orange Blossom Die Set.  You might be thinking, why oranges for a Christmas card?  My clever husband pointed out, but we use oranges in our Turkey stuffing, so it is perfect for a Christmas card LOL.

Techniques I used:

• Die-cut green cardstock using the Couture Creations Deck The Hall Happy Holidays Tall Card Die Set.
• Die-cut green cardstock using the Altenew Leafy Garland Die. 
• Die-cut white cardstock using the Altenew Orange Blossom Die Set.
• Colour die-cuts using the Altenew Sun-Kissed Delight Fresh Dye Inks.
• Die-cut gold cardstock using the Altenew Merry Christmas Die.

To finish I added some sequins.

Snowflakes Card

Hi Everyone, I would like to share a Christmas card with you using the Altenew Layered Snowflakes Die Set. I arranged the snowflake die-cuts following the Freshly Made Sketches #665 sketch.   

Techniques I used:

• Embossed the blue cardstock with the Altenew Gem Pattern 3D Embossing Folder.
• Added splatters using the Altenew Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set. 
• Die-cut white cardstock using the Altenew Layered Snowflakes Die Set.
• Die-cut silver cardstock using the Altenew Merry Christmas Die.

To finish I added some gems.

Butterfly Card - The Paper Shelter Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, this week and next, rather than running our usual Blog Hop, the Design team at The Paper Shelter is honouring our beautiful co-founder Veronica, who tragically left us on September, 25th 2024.

Veronica was a kind, supportive, beautiful soul, who alongside her co-founder Pedro, produced the images we all know and love to create with.  There is a vacuum in the world today, where Veronica used to be, and we will miss her terribly.

Now here is my card 

using Armour Art Digital Coloring Book

I used the butterfly, because it symbolize rebirth, hope and love.  

Techniques I used:

• I coloured the butterfly Armour Art Digital Coloring Book image using Copic Sketch Markers.
• Embossed jade cardstock using the Altenew Ribbon Waves 3D Embossing Folder.
• Ink blend the corners using the Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink.
• Stamp Altenew Lovely Rose Peony Sentiment Stamp with Embossing Ink and heat emboss with Altenew Gold Crisp Embossing Powder.
• Die-cut with co-ordinating Altenew Lovely Rose Peony Die.

To finish I added some splatters using the Altenew Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set and some sequins.

Winter Christmas Card

Hi Everyone, I would like to share a Christmas card with you using the Altenew Happy Pomegranates Stamp Set. I stamped the pomegranates following the Freshly Made Sketches #664 sketch .   

Techniques I used:

• Stamped the Altenew Happy Pomegranates Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
• Stamped the Altenew Dry Brush Poinsettia Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. 
• Coloured the pomegranates with Altenew Glacier Caves Artist Alcohol Markers and Altenew Warm Gray Artist Alcohol Markers.

To finish I added some splatters using the Altenew Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set and some sequins.

Christmas Ornaments Coloring Book - The Paper Shelter

Hi Everyone, are you ready ...

using Christmas Ornaments Digital Coloring Book.

Techniques used:

• First I coloured the Christmas Ornaments Digital Coloring Book with Copic Sketch Markers.
• Following on from this I stamped the Birch Impressionism Stamp randomly using Distress Ink Peeled Paint.
• I then stamped and heat emboss the Spellbinders Charming Tag Sentiments Stamp.
• To finish I added Nuvo Crystal Drops Metallic Gold onto the flowers.

Christmas Bird Card

Hi Everyone, I would like to share another Christmas card with you using the Altenew Craft Your Life  Project Kit Rustic Charm. I followed the Freshly Made Sketches #663 and loved using the sketch as inspiration.

Techniques I used:

• Embossed the blue cardstock with the Altenew Gem Pattern 3D Embossing Folder.
• Added splatters using the Altenew Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set. 
• Die-cut white cardstock using the MFT Postage Stamp Stax Dies.
• Stamp Altenew Craft Your Life  Project Kit Rustic Charm bird image using  Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
• Color image using Altenew Craft Your Life  Project Kit Rustic Charm Stencil, Altenew Blue Mountains and Altenew Lapis Lazuli Fresh Dye Ink.
• Die-cut image with coordinating Altenew Craft Your Life  Project Kit Rustic Charm Die.
• Embossed the blue cardstock with the Altenew Craft Your Life  Project Kit Rustic Charm embossing folder.
• Die-cut image with coordinating Altenew Craft Your Life  Project Kit Rustic Charm Die.
• Swiped the Altenew Cloud White Pigment Ink over the embossed cardstock.

To finish I stamped the Spellbinders Charming Tag Sentiment Stamp using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and added some sequins.

Christmas Tree

Hi Everyone, I would like to share a Christmas card with you using the Altenew Once Upon A Time Stamp & Die Set. I followed Jen T's sketch at the Freshly Made Sketches #662 and it where the perfect sketch for this Christmas card.   

Techniques I used:

• Embossed the green cardstock with the Altenew Ribbon Waves 3D Embossing Folder.
• Stamped the Altenew Snowing Stamp using the Altenew Cloud White Pigment Ink. 
• Stamped the Altenew Once Upon A Time Tree Stamp several times using the Green Valley Fresh Dye Ink.
• Die-cut image with coordinating Altenew Once Upon A Time Die Set.

To finish I stamped the Spellbinders Charming Tag Sentiment Stamp using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  I added a gold strip underneath the embossed panel.
