Butterfly Garden 3D Pop Up Card - Couture Creations

Hi Everyone, Anet here again to share some inspiration with you for the Couture Creations Blog.

I have created a 3D Pop Up Card with the new releases
Butterfly Garden and Modern Essentials Collection
from Couture Creations

I got the inspiration from Lynn Dunn's Blog.

Step by step instructions:

1. Trim Ivory Cardstock to 15.2cm x 21cm.

I used the Couture Creations Scoring Board to score at 10.5cm and fold card base.

2. Cut Butterfly Garden Pattern Paper  to 11.8cm x 15.6cm (need three).

Distress edges. Adhere onto card front and onto the inside of the card.

3. Cut Butterfly Garden Pattern Paper to 4cm x 21.7cm.

Score at 5.2cm, 10.2cm and 15.2cm.

Accordion fold the pop up section by folding it in half on 10.2cm score line. Then fold on each of the other score lines. Fold the smaller pieces towards the middle fold.

Add Butterfly Garden - Diecut Ephemera Butterflies using 3D foam pads.

Add Butterfly Garden - Diecut Ephemera behind the accordion pop-up.

4. Add a bit of double sided tape to the end pieces and adhere one end at a time.

5. Foil with Modern Essentials Cut, Foil and Emboss Nesting Circle Die:

- Heat Metal Shim, Modern Essentials Nesting Circle Die sharp edges up and GoPress & Foil Machine.
- Place Heat Activated Foil with the shiny side down.
- Close lid and heat up for 30 seconds.
- Wind slowly through die-cutting machine.

Add Butterfly Garden - Diecut Ephemera circle onto foiled circle and adhere onto card front using 3D foam pads.

6. Die-cut Ivory Cardstock with Butterfly Garden Dies:

- Beehive;
- Ornate Corners.

Adhere onto card front.

7. Add Butterfly Garden - Diecut Ephemera onto card front using 3D foam pads.

Die-cut Ivory Cardstock with fishtail die and stamp sentiment. Adhere onto card front using 3D foam pads to finish.
