Modern Essentials Birthday Card - Couture Creations

Hi Everyone, Anet here today and welcome to my first post for the month for the Couture Creations Blog.

I have created a Nautical Birthday Card today 

with the new release Modern Essentials 

from Couture Creations. 

Trim white cardstock to 15.2cm x 21cm, score and fold card base.  Cut Ulysses Blue Cardstock to 11.8cm x 15.6cm.

Cut mixed media cardstock to 10.7cm x 14.6cm. Apply Gesso and allow to dry. Add distress oxide and allow to dry.  Apply stencil and use Modeling Paste through the stencil.  Allow to dry and stick onto cardstock.

Add brads and adhere onto card front using 3D foam pads.

Foil with Modern Essentials 
Cut, Foil and Emboss Inset Oval Frames Die

• Heat Metal Shim, Modern Essentials Inset Oval Frame Die sharp edges up and GoPress & Foil Machine.
• Place Heat Activated Foil with the shiny side down. 
• Add Ultimate Crafts - Ulysses Blue Cardstock.
• May need extra cardstock shims subject to what machine you use.
• Close lid and heat up for 30 seconds.
• Wind slowly through die-cutting machine.

Stick to card front.

Die-Cut with Modern Essentials 
Cut, Foil and Emboss Inset Oval Frames Die

Die-cut a mixed media cardstock Modern Essentials Inset Oval Frame.

Apply Gesso and allow to dry. Add distress oxide and allow to dry. Apply stencil and use Modeling Paste through the stencil.  Allow to dry.

Stick onto cardstock.

Foil with Cardstock Die-cuts

Die-cut a white cardstock Couture Creations Tall Ship and Happy Birthday Sentiment.

• Heat Metal Shim and GoPress & Foil Machine.
• Place Heat Activated Foil with the shiny side down onto Metal Shim.
• Add cardstock die-cut onto foil.
• May need extra cardstock shims subject to what machine you use.
• Close lid. Heat up for 30 seconds.
• Wind slowly through die-cutting machine.

Stick sentiment onto card front.

Adhere foiled ship onto card front using 3D foam pads to finish.

Foiled Easel Step Card - Le Petit Jardin

Hi Everyone, Anet here today and welcome to my first post for the new year for Couture Creations.

I have created an Easel Step Card today on the Couture Creations Blog with the new release 

Le Petit Jardin 

and

Modern Essentials 

Trim a piece of Charming Cardstock to 10.5cm x 29.6cm. Score at 4cm, 7cm, 11cm and 14.5cm. Fold the mountain and valley folds.  

Cut Charming Cardstock to 10.5cm x 15.2cm.  Score at 7.5cm and fold the valley fold.  Adhere the easel onto the back of the step card using double sided tape. 

Le Petit Jardin Pattern Paper

Cut the beautiful Le Petit Jardin pattern paper twice to 4.4cm x 10.9cm.  Stick to first and second step.

Stamp Le Petit Jardin Special Day Mini Stamp onto Le Petit Jardin pattern paper.

Cut Le Petit Jardin pattern paper to 10.9cm x 14.9cm. Adhere to card front using double sided tape.

Die-Cut with Le Petit Jardin Dies

Die-cut a Charming Cardstock Le Petit Jardin Morning Flourish Decorative Die and stick onto first step.

Die-cut three Charming Cardstock Le Petit Jardin Evening Branch Dies and stick onto card front.

Foil with Modern Essentials Cut, Foil and Emboss Inset Oval Frame Die

• Heat Modern Essentials Cut, Foil and Emboss Inset Oval Frame Die sharp edges up with GoPress and Foil Machine.
• Place Heat Activated Foil with the shiny side down and add cardstock. 
• May need extra cardstock shims subject to what machine you use.
• Close lid and heat up for 30 seconds.
• Wind slowly through die-cutting machine.

Just love that it cut, foil and emboss the oval frame all with one go.

Foil with Hotfoil Stamp

• Heat GoPress and Foil Machine and Hotfoil Stamp.
• Place Heat Activated Foil with the shiny side down onto Hotfoil Stamp.  
• Add cardstock and close lid.
• Wind slowly through die-cutting machine.

Adhere to card front using 3D foam pads to finish.

Evening Branch Christmas Card - Le Petit Jardin

Hi Everyone, Anet here today and welcome to my post for Couture Creations.

As you all know Christmas is upon us. I made a Christmas card today on the Couture Creations Blog with the Couture Creations new release 

Le Petit Jardin 

Le Petit Jardin Pattern Paper 
and 
Couture Creations Cardstock

Trim white cardstock to 11.4cm x 15cm, score and fold card base. Trim Delicate Medlar Cardstock to 11.8cm x 15.4cm. Adhere Delicate Medlar Cardstock onto white cardstock.

Cut the beautiful Le Petit Jardin pattern paper C0725414 to 10.2cm x 15.8cm and adhere onto Delicate Medlar Cardstock. Adhere to card front.

Die-Cut with Le Petit Jardin - Jardin Corners Die

Die-cut two Le Petit Jardin - Jardin Corners with Delicate Medlar Cardstock. Adhere to card front.

Die-Cut with Le Petit Jardin - Evening Branch Die
and
Foil with Thin Cutting Die Sentiment

• Heat thin cutting die sentiment and GoPress & Foil Machine.
• Place Heat Activated Foil with the shiny side down onto thin cutting die.  
• Add Delicate Medlar Cardstock and close lid. Heat up for 30 seconds.
• Wind slowly through die-cutting machine.

Die-cut with stitched circle die.

Die-cut six Le Petit Jardin - Evening Branches with Delicate Medlar Cardstock. Arrange in a circle and add onto stitched circle.

Die-cut and Foil with Le Petit Jardin - Bending Branches Die
and
Die-cut and Foil with Highland Christmas Reindeer Die

Die-cut three white cardstock Le Petit Jardin - Bending Branches.

• Heat Metal Shim and GoPress & Foil Machine.
• Place Heat Activated Foil with the shiny side down onto Metal Shim.
• Add cardstock die-cut onto foil and close lid. Heat up for 30 seconds.
• Wind slowly through die-cutting machine.

Die-cut a white cardstock Highland Christmas Reindeer.

• Heat Metal Shim and GoPress & Foil Machine.
• Place Heat Activated Foil with the shiny side down onto Metal Shim.
• Add cardstock die-cut onto foil and close lid. Heat up for 30 seconds.
• Wind slowly through die-cutting machine.

Add Le Petit Jardin - Bending Branches onto stitched circle and adhere to card front.

Adhere Highland Christmas Reindeer to card front to finish.

Couture Creations Design Team Audition 2018

Hi Everyone, I was so excited when I saw Couture Creations is having a Design Team Audition. I would be so proud if chosen to join their Design Team and using their beautiful products.

I recently bought a Couture Creations GoPress Foil Machine and I must say I just love using it.  It came pretty handy in making the three cards to enter the audition.

Now here is my cards

First Card - Sea Journey

Whooo I made my first video. I hope you will enjoy my video and give it a thumbs up.

Material List:

• Couture Creations Tall Ship Die
• Ultimate Crafts Congratulations Hotfoil Stamp
• Couture Creations Tied Together Embossing Folder
• Couture Creations Heat Foil Copper Mirror Finish
• Couture Creations Heat Foil Silver Iridescent
• Couture Creations GoPress Foil Machine
• Ultimate Crafts DieCut 'n Bond
• White Card Stock
• Kaisercraft Navy Weave Card stock
• MFT Fishtail Die
• Anchor Wooden Embellishment

Step by Step Instructions:

Trim a piece of white card stock to 15.2 x 21.1cm, score and fold to create card base.

Cut white card stock to 10.5 to 14.3cm and navy cardstock to 9 x 14.8cm.

Emboss navy card stock.

Embossing With Foil:

• Turn on machine. 
• Open Lid and place metal shim on heat plate. 
• Place foil coloured side down.
• Place cardstock, emboss folder, extra shim and heat up.
• Keep lid open and wind slowly through die-cutting machine

Layer onto white card stock and adhere to card front using 3D foam tape.

Die-cut a white card stock fishtail. 

Hotfoil Stamping:

• Turn on machine. 
• Open Lid and place hotfoil stamp onto heat plate. 
• Place foil coloured side down.
• Place cardstock. Close lid and heat up.
• Wind slowly through die-cutting machine.

Wooden Embellishment Foiling

• Turn on machine. 
• Open Lid and place metal shim on the heat plate.
• Place foil coloured side down onto metal shim.
• Place wooden embellishment. Close lid and heat up.
• Wind slowly through die-cutting machine.

Adhere to card front using 3D foam tape.

Die-Cut 'n Bond and Die:

• Adhere a piece of Die-Cut 'n Bond to the back side of white card stock. 
• Place ship die on top of the card Stock and cut with die-cutting machine.
• Peel off the protective backing layer and adhere to card front to finish.

One get such a beautiful effect when using the foil stamps and foil with the GoPress Foil Machine. The sentiment just stand out. I also just love using the foil machine for foiling chipboard and wooden embellishments. The foiled chipboard and wooden embellishments makes beautiful embellishments on cards.

I have allot of embossing folders and by using the GoPress Foil Machine it is as if it just brings more of an eye catching effect when used with foil. 

Second Card - Happy Birthday

It is so much easier to use foamiran with the GoPress Foil Machine. Do not need to worry to get burn with an iron LOL.

Time Stand Still - Couture Creations Foil Machine

Hi Everyone, hope you are all having a good week.

I recently bought a Couture Creations Foil Machine and wanted to share a card where I used the foil machine. Firstly I foiled the sentiment with a foil stamp and foil after I coloured the background.  I then foiled a bicycle chipboard.

I wanted to achieve a 3D design effect with my colouring and dies.  Coloured the background following Kit and Clowder monthly class.

Now here is my card
using Shoppes - Art Impressions.
Coloured with Copic Sketch Markers.

Sentiment: Ultimate Crafts Hot Foil Stamp - Congratulations. Couture Creations Foil Machine and Royal Blue Foil. Dies: Marianne Design Christmas Village. Bicycle Chipboard. White Gel Pen.
